Short description
Hold My Bolt! is a 2–4 player online co-op chaos game set in a run-down rocket factory, where every player holds only one piece of the information.
Long description
Four workers clock in at an old, unreliable rocket factory. When the alarm goes off, nobody can see the whole fault: the Manager sees the signal on the board, the Analyst has the maintenance manual, Logistics can read the part codes in the store, and the Technician knows the sockets on the rocket.
The crew talks it through, grabs the right part off the shelf, carries it together if they have to, screws it into the right socket the right way round and pulls the lever before time runs out. Along the way there's shoving, slipping in oil, dropped parts and a leak that won't stop.
There's no text on screen; every piece of information is an icon. Each shift generates a new crisis, the roles rotate and the difficulty rises. The result screen shows where the chain broke, and if half the crew wants it, one more shift begins.
